5-MeO-DMT is a natural psychedelic drug found in the venom of the Colorado River toad, Bufo Alvarius, also known as the Sonoran Desert toad. Smoking 5-MeO-DMT induces a short but intense psychedelic experience or ‘trip’, with hallucinogenic effects that are significantly stronger than those induced by DMT (the primary psychoactive molecule found in Ayahuasca).

Anthropologists have long speculated that ancient peoples of Mesoameria used a toad, Bufo marinus, as a ritual intoxicant.

It’s interesting to note that since Mike Tyson started using it he seems to have become a very peaceful and happy man. The classic psychedelic 5-MeO-DMT, although its effect is short-acting, can still induce long-lasting neural plasticity and wiring changes in the brain
